A flat tire on my husband’s car this morning meant I was able to stop at my favorite, @cafe_wren, after dropping him off at work ☕️🤩
I finally splurged (thank you for the October sale, @gladjegallery!) and had two of my grandmother’s illustrations framed. Dorothea was an incredible artist and even took drawing classes in the 1940s; these are two of the pieces from that time.
📣 Amazing historic building and potter alert! Yesterday I visited friend and talented potter @sarahdudgeon’s studio in Little Falls, WI. Her shop is located in the 1887 Little Falls Post Office, right along the Apple River, and it’s so charming.
Reflecting today on the incredible year we’ve had.
“There once was a ship that went to sea…”
Little day trip idea for ya’ to Cumberland, WI!
